Quality Guidelines for getAbstract

1. getAbstract is qualitatively and quantitatively the leading provider of book summaries worldwide.
2. Our target audience is made up of people seeking accessible knowledge about diverse areas of business, from business owners to executives to trainees.
3. Our summaries reflect the most important, relevant and meaningful content of the books. They are reliable, excellent and error-free.
4. We are neutral toward the ideas represented in the books.
5. In the realm of books that are relevant to business in the broadest sense, everything is open to our consideration except books that in some way insult human dignity.
6. We select business books that excel through practical relevance, degree of innovation and style. We consider bestsellers if they are relevant to our target groups. Selections for the classic library are based upon widely accepted traditions in English and German literature.
7. The function of our book summaries (including the recommendation, evaluation, take-aways and key quotes) is to provide the reader with a quick overview of the content of the book to save the time required to read the original, to help the reader select which books to read in full, and to provide knowledge for reference and learning.
